Domaine Mérieau 's "Les Grands Champs" red wine is a powerful and elegant cuvée, made from Cot and Cabernet Franc grape varieties. Growing on south-facing clay-limestone soils, the old vines (25 to 60 years old) produce a red wine with a purple color, rich in red fruit aromas and a beautiful tannic structure.

The vinification is meticulous: long maceration of 5 to 6 weeks , indigenous yeasts, aging in unlined concrete vats. The work of a passionate craftsman, for a terroir wine with a real personality.

A wine to be enjoyed today with red meats or to age in the cellar to reveal all its complexity.
